RANDOM FRIDAY werd in 1997 gestart door
ICATT interactive media .
Random Friday is een informele ontmoeting van mensen uit de interactieve
media. De locaties van een Random Friday zijn even random als
de planning. Wij verwelkomen nieuwe ideeën. Als je iets wilt
organiseren, horen wij dat graag.
Op een Random Friday ontmoeten wij elkaar in levende lijve om
kennis over de interactieve media uit te kunnen wisselen. Iedereen is welkom die zich op de werkvloer van bedrijven of instellingen bezig houdt met nieuwe media. Ontwerpers, programmeurs, onderzoekers, manager, schrijvers, systeembeheerders, uitgevers en ondernemers komen allemaal.
Random Friday is niet commercieel en wordt gesteund door sponsors.

De crisis heeft de stad hard geraakt. Mensen lopen verdwaasd door de straten. Wat is er gebeurd? Wat? Is het waar? Random Friday heeft geen sponsor.
Dus? Inderdaad... het is heel hoog tijd voor: RANDOM FRIDAY
THE CRISIS EDITION Laten we het in stijl doen. De lieve mensen bij Muziekgebouw aan het IJ zijn bereid om ons op te vangen voor een drankje op het mooiste terras van de stad (wereld?).
En vrees niet (sponsor of geen sponsor) Random Friday trakteert op een drankje. Be there or... Vrijdag 8 mei 2009 - vanaf 17:30

Route naar het Muziekgebouw Maar wacht: we zoeken wel een sponsor voor de Random Friday Zomer BBQ - in samenwerking met Freelance Friday. De BBQ is in juni. Kan jouw bedrijf of instelling een paar honderd euro sponsoren in ruil voor eeuwige roem? De BBQ is waarschijnlijk eind juni. Reply! top

Wie volgt?
Wanneer je ook een keer wilt sponseren,
horen wij dat graag. Wat dat kost, hangt af van de grootte van
je bedrijf. Een gemiddelde avond kost ongeveer 650 Euro.
Q. Waar en wanneer wordt Random Friday georganiseerd?
A. Random Frdiay wordt op vrijdagen (wanneer wordt kort van te
voren rond gemaild) in steeds andere cafes in het centrum van
Amsterdam en Arnhem georganiseerd.

RANDOM FRIDAY was started in 1997 by
ICATT interactive media.(these guys
must be old!)
Random Friday is an informal meetingplace for professionals who
work in the interactive media field (what ever that may be) and
love it. Locations for Random Friday are just as random as the
planning. We welcome new idea's. If you would like to organise
something with us, send us an e-mail.
On a Random Friday we meet each other in person to be able
to exchange experience, information and knowledge about interactive
media.
Designers, programmers, managers, researchers, writers, editors,
system operators, publishers and entrepeneurs - they all drop
by.
Random Friday is totally non commercial and gets by with the kind help of sponsors.

The crisis has hit us hard. Folks are walking the streets in bewilderment. What has happened? What are we saying? Yes it's true. Random Friday does not have a sponsor for this edition.
So? Indeed. So what! It's time for... RANDOM FRIDAY
THE CRISIS EDITION So let's do it in style. The kind folks at Muziekgebouw aan het IJ are willing to accommodate us for drinks on what must be the most incredible deck in Amsterdam.
And don't worry (sponsor or no sponsor) Random Friday will buy you a drink. Be there or... Friday 8th of May 2009 - from 17:30

Who's next?
If you would like to sponsor Random Friday next time, we would
like to hear from you. The costs depend on the size of your company
and how much you like to drink. A typical evening costs about
650 Euro but small companies can chooise to sponsor part of the
evening.
Q. Where and when does Random Friday take place?
A. Random Friday takes place on a Friday (on which Friday will
be e-mailed on short notice) in alternating cafes in the center
of Amsterdam or Arnhem.
Q. I received an invitation, but I don't want it anymore.
